Looking to fish - SD

I have mostly been a semi-lurker/drooler on this forum, enjoying all the great fishing stories, endless humor-shots and drooling over all the fish pics while at work, and while my '14 PA collected dust at home

But, I am about to have a lot more free time on my hands....getting laid-off Friday, after putting in 19 years of hard work.

So now I'm looking to get all this layoff stuff behind me and finally fish, but not by myself. ....I don't personally know anyone who kayak fishes, so I'd maybe like to bump into a few of you guys for a bit of comradery, have a few laughs and a safe/fun day on the water. I am Not looking for a free ride to mooch spots...that's just not me and not the purpose of this post.

I'm already somewhat experienced fishing for spotties, halibut, YT and tuna in friends boats for 30+ years. I have my own truck, solid fishing & kayak equipment and safety gear, but I'm still kinda green when it comes to kayak fishing.

I can fish Mon-Sat. and would prefer to fish the bays, SD/MB, a bit before heading out to LJ kelp. PM me or reply on this thread if you would like to fish sometime. Looking forward to fishing !

I'm busy the next two weekends but will be focused on the bay until things heat up. Drop me a pm and we can get out there

Pinhead pm me when you want to head out. I'm looking for a position right now so tend to have a decent amount of free time. I haven't done the bays but have fished LJ so I'm open for anything. Headed out Thurs morning for a quick kelp session in LJ if you want to tag along.
