Redondo Parking question

OK here's the deal. Parking at King Harbor is 4 bucks for eight hours, and then you get charged by the hour$$$.

There was a trick though if you bought frozen squid at Redondo Sport Fishing they stamped your ticket and then it was only 2 dollars unlimited time. I tend to fish long days so that worked for me.

Now I hear Redondo Sportfishing has closed down and is out of business. So my question s has anyone figured out a good place to get your ticket validated without spending too much coin.

I'm not usually there more than 8hrs so I don't worried to much about it. I was a private boater for 6years and was used to paying $12 when launching so $4 parking was happily welcomed.

I used to slip there, and lived on my boat for a few years. It's all relative. I just hate paying the extra money or feeling rushed. I'm thinking maybe Coffee at the restaurant will do the trick.

I wouldn't mind sleeping in my boat if i had one, and if i didn't come attached with wife and kids.

Coffee or a soda at any of the local establishments can get you an additional 2 hours for free.
