Tidelands 2May

I wanted to be on the water by 3#0 at the latest but traffic on the 15 and bridge was bad.
Got out there in time to see some fancy flying by the racers.
Threw out the Fish trap for nada around the boats. Watched Vessel assist work a sunken boat for a while then headed for the base.

Drifted back toward Tidelands for nada. Even the folks on the pier weren't catching anything. Must have been the noise from the planes.

Got back to Tidelands and tide off on an empty mooring buoy and got taken hard by a bat ray. (Note to self: Don't try to pull in a bat ray while inside the mooring area.) I got taken for a ride right up to one of the moored boats. Likely my line snapped before I hit.

By the time I left (sunset) Vessel assist had lifted the sunken boat.

Not even going to try the bay this weekend. I can find me at LJ.
