You guys have bigger balls than me to be in a kayak on San Diego Bay on a Friday night/Saturday morning in the middle of June. Remember, there is no speed limit on SD bay. If the tuna are biting it will be a very busy place-- you better have more than just a Visa carbon light to show up!!

Might be VERY true. There is ALWAYS a reason not to go. But then a small throw down happening in 3 months with a $500+ payout to the winner does not happen very often. And MOST will be fishing near or around the bait barge.
