Big Head Skinny

45# 55" on live mack. Stomach was empty...hoping it was going to be plugged w squid.

One thing about fishing without a partner is a lost opportunity for an "on the water" shot...but that would never stop me from launching. Very few yaks on the water, never came close enough to have a conversation with anyone...at the jewel! If anyone is wondering, that is not my helmet...lol. Jim

That is a NICE sea bass. And in the winter? AND a solo mission? Have you thought about rigging up a gopro on a long pvc to get the OTW shot while solo?

Yani man...on the Terramar rod with my little Daiwa! What a fight. I love fishing with lite tackle. My spool was 3/4 burned on its first run. Thanks brotha.

YakDout...ha! Wasn't my main point but I have two GoPros! I've found when I'm messing with that stuff, I lose focus and energy on the main mission...one big bite...Jim

Bobby! four five...no shoulders and no belly, otherwise it would been about 6#'s heavier than Roby's recent wsb. Jim

Is that a TUNA?

Did you catch it out there in the ocean?

Were you canoeing?

Can I take a picture with you?

Nice fish, it sounds like you did it by the book. Speaking of which, I'll return the book at the HOW event, January 10th.

Surprised the lions didn't get it, whenever I'm out there with very few others they always find me right when I hook up, lost my first wsb like that.

Awesome WSB catch Jim. On the water is good but fish on deck is better. Good onshore picture.
