10/5 LJ Nada por nada

I owned the pond all morning. Nobody else was fishing. No sporties, no PBers, no jet skis. Surf seemed a little smaller than Monday, but quicker interval. Got out dry around first light. Paddled north in glassy seas. Casting the sabiki at the occasional baits on top got me a mix of greenbacks sardine and spanish. Gave halibut a shot for an hour and a half. Paddled out to the point, then out around the half. No signs of life on the surface anywhere. Water looked the same everywhere I went, army green and 10 foot of visibility. Only gamefish seen were small barracuda following my swimbait. Skunked in paridise.
