Great job out there. Thanks for sharing the video and entertaining us. At the same time, many of us is envious of your mission and catch. I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm sitting here planning a journey to catch some tuna due to your inspiration.

My favorite part of the video is the strike and your "woohoo, yeah, YEAH, I'm on!"

I kept replaying that. Stoked for ya

Nicely done guys. Hard work pays off. What's next Andy? Wahoo? As long as you are tackling these hard jobs, why don't you see what you can do about this ISIS thing or the economy in Greece. Might be easier than your first yak tuna.

The biggest reason I do not venture any distance offshore with out a wingman.........2 heads are always better than one, especially if there is a shark in your head! Mako last week harassing Gabe and this big ol hammerhead this week.

Look at Yani's hands. He is gutting his fish in shark infested waters. Tell that crazy Greek to stick his feet inside his kayak and quit feeding the sharks!!

Both you and Yani have super size huevos Rancheros.

Mucho congrats on both of your YFT and thank you for the great video and report. Very exciting times at DP and don't need to drive an hour south to do a surf launch at LJ at 0500! I paddled out w four others and arrived just as you and Yani were leaving. We lost a couple hrs waiting for boat to deliver new bait after the bait barge ran out of bait and then making macs along way. Didn't see any boils but random hookups were occurring every 15 min or so by pb's and a couple of yaks in our party. I only got a few short bites and short hookup w a shark so will be out again next week. Thanks for sharing.

Gutting and bleeding a fish while a hammerhead is that close? You have bigger balls than I do sir!

Big time congrats!!!
I know that kept you up at night!

Look at Yani in that pic, wondering how that hammerhead would taste, and what would be the best way to prepare it
