Its been a loong time.

So I had a short hiatus from west coast fishing. 4 years for dental school in New York, and just got back this summer. At UCLA for a year residency and then Ill be looking to practice somewhere in so cal.

But, I did get to do a little fishing while in new york. Montauk can get absolutely insane!

But this is how I felt when I got back:

What got me through the last winter was knowing what I was going to pick up as soon as I got back. The new rides:

First day out, I knew that I was going to be rusty and just wanted to make sure that everything worked. It certainly did!

Second time out was this last weekend, and I was set on yellowtail. I was out all 3 days and was able to make it happen:

Found the bait. Loving the 7 inch dragonfly btw.

And found the fish!

Great report. How do you carry your kayak on the Ridgeline? I don't see a rack.

Welcome back home.

Always fun to fish new places, but... "There's no place like home"

thanks guys! Ya, by state standards... Im a doctor. By Hangover standards... nope! HAHA

I love the ridgeline. I actually had one before I moved, and knew I was going to get another one when I got back. I use a bed extender which sticks out pretty far with the PA, but it seems to work just fine.

Congrats on finishing up dental school and getting back on the fish!
I'll be starting my first year of dental school at UCLA in a couple weeks!
