Bought a kayak to use with the girlfriend and to fish off of. Got a good deal on it as well. Excited to take it out there and try it out in la jolla. It's a little over 15 feet and a pain to get up on the jeep but it was still fun to take it out on mission bay for the first trip

Best of luck to you! I have friends trying to sell their significant others on the idea of kayaking just so they have a way of getting on the water to fish.

i had that same kayak when i first started... it is super stable! i think it's over 16'... and heavy. brings back good memories...

LOL, My first kayak was a 2 seater so I could go out with my wife and kids.

A week later, I bought a single seat kayak for MYself.

In the last 2 years, I have kayak (fished) well over a hundred times.

I think my wife has kayaked 2 maybe 3 times in the last 2 years.
