Amish Ed & fresh water report

Ed, you will be happy to know I got out of my kayak twice today without drowning myself or even falling into the water. On a negative note though we got on to Lake Silverwood early but didn't score any fish, I did get two hits trolling the white fluke but neither fish stayed on the hook. The lake is down about 15' from two weeks ago. The shoreline is covered in dead water plants, it is pretty disgusting. But then again, I didn't fall either.

Hahaha! Good job. Your knees are getting better already. Too bad on the skunk though.

Where'd all the water go? 15' seems like a lot for a couple of weeks.

I think the state is getting ready for the El Nino rains so they are lowering all the reservoirs. Won't they look foolish if the rains miss us. I'm going to take my wife to Newport next Saturday so she can pester those spotties a little.
