Lifeproof Case For Galaxy S3

According to the reps that were working the Lifeproof both at the FHS they are expecting to release the case for the S3 just before summer 2013. Hopefully, its not as bulky as the Seidio case. Anyway, just wanted to put it out there in case anyone is waiting for it as much as i am.

Watch out for lifeproof! Worst cases I've ever had...seriously. My wife and I bought new I phones and new lifeproof cases. Both were broken within a month. Tried contacting lifeproof several times with no success. Biggest waste of 180.00 dollars ever. My opinion

What do you mean when you say 'broken'?

I know Tony has had his for quite some time and I've seen the abuse it gets put through. I also have two famly members that have had there's for at least a year with no issues. I'd like to know what exactly happened fo yours

The Part that covers the port where you plug in the battery charger cracked on both phones. And slowly kept getting worse till the broke off completely

I have one for the iPhone. Under normal use the corners tear off, the door for the port breaks. I have received two replacements free of charge (was informed that was my last). I have had excellent experiences with their customer service. But their name is a total misnomer; it is not life proof at all. The cases last no more than 5 or 6 months under normal use.

That's just it, I have not used it in any way that I would expect it to wear out as quickly as it did. The corners tore from just going in and out of my pocket.

I just came across this on Living Social, in the 2nd link that shows the details: says it floats, can still use headphones, and still use the touchscreen.

I ordered one on e bay for 30.00 only to fine out it was a Chinese knock off. Piece of crap. Then bought one from a store and couldn't be happier. I climb trees for a living and regularly destroy even military grade phones. It has lived up to it's reputation protecting my i phone.
