Snapped cable on Mirage drive ?

Today one of my cables snapped. Are they easy to replace? My drive is about 3 yrs old is there anything else I should maintain on it. Is there a you to instruction for rebuilding/replacing? Thanks in advance.

Is it the cable that attaches to the pulley chain? I'm not sure how easy those are to fix, but I'd touch bases with Andy/Iceman here at OEX Sunset Beach. He can provide you with some guidance, parts, or just fix it for you probably. Good luck.

ps. ErickO here on the boards had something similar happen to him on our recent Islander trip. He might have some tips also.

Not rocket science...

Mark the center of the new chain, mark the center of the sprocket, unscrew the two locknuts, put the new chain in place, replace locknuts with new. Tension the chain to about 1/8" sideplay.

If still in doubt, the Hobie forums have anything and everything you need to know. Start your search here:
