9/2-PM LJ - Basstastic

It was pretty much wide open. Foamers. Weird. Huge school of brown macs on the outside. Getting thrashed by calico. Saw a small school of YT chasing bait. Saw two jump, they were small, 6-8 lbs. Hooked plenty of calico on the iron and bait on the outside. Every other cast on the inside on a 4 in sardine swimmie/yellow head. Just stupid hook ups.

Hooked a fat bastrad on a big mac. Thought it was something more and went for the gaff. Caught in a stringer, let it run out. Boated and CPR.

Lets open a bar tomorrow and get drunk.

Looks like a great day on the water. Your line on your hook has a loop in it. It's not sinched down.......what knot did you use?

TOADS, Afran. Nice!!

Looks like a perfection loop... allows the bait to swim natural. Kind of like ringed hooks.
