thats good info. i've been looking at release/truth and i was hoping someone here would compare them to avet. i love my avet but i'm always looking other good stuff made in the usa.

I fish Daiwa Saltist levelwind for trolling and rockfishing. I use the Saltist BG for throwing iron. They are very kayak friendly reels.
