how do you guys hook up the bait well and fish finder?

Was wondering how you guys hook up the electronics? Was ah battery you use? And if running the same or different batteries for the fish finder and live well. And also if you use a timing switch for the bait well?

6 volt battery for bait and 12 volt for fish finder. Just installed my fish finder and purchased hobie battery kit. If you have a hobie, pretty convenient and easy to wire up. I used heat shrink on connections.

It depends on the fish finder you have the larger screens eat up the battery and it means 12v and a minimum of 10AH for just the fish finder. A separate battery for the bait tank, usually 6v is better so the pump runs slower and do not make the bait have to swim too much against the flow.
