Packed cooler. LJ 10/29

More classic fall conditions. The launch was like a lake and made it out pretty much dry. Got out and started jigging for macs and the cloud appears on the ff and next thing you know, squid. Andrew dropped a live just after 7 am and immediately hooked a 16 pound halibut! The squid cloud was at about thirty feet and we chased it for a good part of the day. Didn't find any fin bait until later in the day when I caught a 14" bug snack on the edge of the canyon. Also pulled a couple nice size sandbass and a 5 pound sheepy. Weather was beautiful and only a handful of guys out.

Andrews Hali.

Good dinners for a few days coming up soon. It must have been really nice out there too.

Nice haul. I plan on going to LJ before the end of the year and get into some of those rockfish and possibly a halibut or a wsb or a winter yellow.

The fishing turned out nice for you guys. However, judging by the photos the surf was a mudderflocker.

Nice fish full cooler looks great. In the surf pic is that a guy launching his skiff from the surf?

Nice haul! You'll be eating well for a while.
I've launched my Boston Whaler from the shores. Its not too tough as long as the surf isn't too large.
