Deer creek 12/3/17

First time posting a report.
Morning was cold enough that I put on my wetsuit.
There was a nice offshore breeze.
Two foot shore break with some three sets. Waves broke about five from shore so timing was everything this morning.
Out on the water by 6:45 and fishing at 7.
Used the wind to drift out along kelp line. Fished this way until wind died.
Caught my PB calico out of deer creek and four or five healhly calicoes.
When the wind died so did the bite.
Paddles around looking something else but only could get jackesmelt to follow.
Off the water by 9:00
