Finally

After my first intro back in 2013, I put my wants on the back burner to accommodate my wife and bring children into the house.

I already had 2 boys from my previous wife, but at 40, my second wife was unable to have children and didn't have the motherly urge anyway. That's until she met my kids and it was on from there.

5 children fostered, of which 3 were reunified with their parents, and two that we ended up adopting (brothers 5, and 9 at the time) as well as a girl that we adopted at birth. With that being said, I now have a 5, 10, and 13 yo running my life.

I've sacrificed long enough according to my therapists and amazingly my wife.

Today I drove the 90 miles to see @AC_Chum and pulled the trigger on his 2013 PA14 that he had for sale in the classifieds. What an awesome guy. I wish I could have stayed longer but I had to head back up north,

Stay tuned for questions and tips...

It takes a very special person to foster. You deserve the kayak.

Well done, brother. Short term sacrifice for long term gain. We all have a lot to learn from that.

Congrats on the new sled!

Congrats on the new ride. It is obvious that you'll enjoy it, and it's well deserved. Many thanks for taking on the responsibility of fostering and adopting children. But, I sure the joys outweigh everything.
