T-2 days......still day dreaming in the San Jose freakin Airport.....flight cancelled last night due to mechanical problems (something burning upon landing in cockpit)........Alaska Airlines was so generous and put my wife and I up in a sleezy ass roach hotel.......went from staying in the Fairmont to a Roach hotel.......good times but would rather be

Thanks Andy, just got in and saw your post.......looks SWEET! Yes, that is an HDS-5 base model and I bought the Fish N Chip to go with it......seemed to be the way to go according to the info I gathered on BWE......yeah George, first Hobie......Thanks again Andy and I will be in Saturday around mid day to pick it up

I just hope Alaskan fixes that problem before i leave for Cabo Wednesday!
Did the wife let you get a line wet down there??

how much more was the "fish n chip" also when you say hds-5 base, is that the elite model?

not the Elite ........just the HDS-5 base model with the 83/200 transducer......I found the cheapest price for the Fish n Chip I could find online and then West marine matched it......I think it was around $164.00. I did the same for the FF on Anchor Express.

Good luck in Cabo! Fishing trip for you? Thankfully for your sake they probably don't fly the Q400 to Cabo......no fishing for me in San Jose.....just a mandatory business trip with lots of good food and drinks
