I some how made it through tonights shift without gloves. Nice to keep the hands toasty.

It is tough to get a pic of a mac on the iron. When you pull them out of the water they wiggle right off the hook too quick. Took me 3 macs to get that pic. I got a spanish mac on the iron tonight but couldn't get the pic in time.

That would be the bane of the island fisherman, I think Cat more than SCI, I have caught them around the Coronados and smaller ones around LJ (not to be confused with blacksmith that look similar). The blue perch, or halfmoon. If you had anything picking off your squid over there it was probably one of these. Supposedly they will attract the WSB, as a pack picks away at your squid, as long as the WSB gets there before the squid is picked away to nothing. That is a pretty big one and I guess they are good eating. IRONMAN.........DENIED!
