Ruggedization: The iYak :)

Here is an article on how to mod yer electronic gear for rugged use. The section on waterproofing cellphones is especially interesting to us yakkers.

Seems to work. If it holds a vacuum, I expect it to be waterproof. You'll need to break it open for a recharge, but a quart sized plastic seal bag makes for 2 applications. Cheap and effective. just sharin info

Just a word of caution: Trapped humidity can condense
in the device and could potentially cause problems.

Yea I was gonna say the same thing

Kinda like when you load your wallet fishing license and phone into your dry box at home, and don't open it until your otw in la jolla and theres water in the bottom of it :0
