All trips have spots left right now. Snag yours as a Christmas present to yourself!

Just as an FYI the NCKA guys filled an entire 3.5 day trip in 31 hours. They are making the BWE crew look bad!

I'd love to do the 5.5 at Cedros but I'll already be on an 8 day on the Independence that week. I'll jump on one of the other trips tho so someone save me a bunk!! If anyone with only a PA wants to go but cant go because of it let me know. I have a a Trident 11 that I would be able to lend out if someone honest and respectful needs it. It is my only yak to date so I would like it to be in good hands if it helps for everyone else to get this trip to run ....

I'm going to try and come out west again this year for this trip. I'll likely be on the 2.5 day trip at the end of May and am looking forward to another awesome time on the Islander!

I noticed the lack of a Bottom Scratcher trip. Must not have fixed their shark-toothed swim step.

Next year for me... Money is a little too tight this time around.

Need to find a bigger boat or better one, too many PA's here, makes no sense to rent a yak when you own a beast.

Problem being that I doubt all the PA owners would be willing to pay twice the price to bring half the number of kayaks.

I guarantee you wont find a better boat that the Islander. And as far as going bigger, that wont help all that much as most sportfishers have about the same amount of room on the back deck. The Islander isnt a small boat.

The Islander does things right. Their rack holds kayaks well the problem is that in all honestly the PA is not a kayak, it is a plastic boat. Even if another Sportfisher did the Motherships it wouldnt be long before they said no PA's as well. These take up twice as much room as any other kayak meaning you cna only take half as many anglers. Not to mention they put a Huge strain on the crew. Not to mention when you do have PA's on the deck they have to get off the boat first as they are so big they block everybody else from being able to move around and launch.

5.5

I am seriously considering the 5.5. I gotta run it past the other half... I will get back to you CJ. How many do you have so far for the 5.5 out of curiosity?

Boom. Merry Christmas to me. Wife bought me the 1.5 day trip. I'd love to do the 2.5 also. Guess I gotta try my hand in the raffle after pay day.
