don't laugh !

I had to get away from the oside harbor for a little different scenery, and find something at the end of my line besides mackerel and lizards so I traveled south down to mission bay in search of some pissed off spotties. I found an area holding fish with my dragonfly and sure enough they wanted my 4" anchovy z-man on a 3/8 jig head. Fished from 8:30 till 1:00 and landed four SBB none were over 14" mostly 10-12" but you gota give it up to those fish, they get angry when hooked and that makes for a fun time.

Nice ones!
Dragonfly worked great for you.
I'm going to be purchasing one soon.
Hoping for Memorial Day sales.
Thanks for your advice and info on the dragonfly

Yes dragonfly!

It did! I started fishing rocks, edges of eel grass(as I would on a lake) then it dawned on me, I should only fish where the finder says there are(doh!)fish. Then it was like cheating! I lost a lot of bites but I was the kind of busy we all love to be from then on. I turned it on at the Dana landing boat ramp and never had to fool with it once. NICE!

Nice day and congrats on the catch. Was out yesterday in Oceanside. Two short halibut and huge swells all day. Hard to impossible to stay on the right spots. Got out of it some by turning into the mouth of Del Mar basin. But it was tough. Glad you found it better down south.

Those spotties are always fun to catch on the Z Mans.
