I'm working on mechanical legs that will mount on the bottom of the kayak. That way you can just have your kayak walk you out through the surf. My biggest obstacle is making the legs waterproof to protect the internal wiring. I'm thinking about using waders to keep the mechanical legs dry, but I'm worried that they might fill with water and drag me down to my death

Yeah I was one of the noobs that did the wader post last year. But it was around new years.

And I can now confidently say ( unfortunately twice ), that if you roll your yak with waders on you won’t sink...in fact the only thing that will sink a little is your confidence.lol
