Kayak Gaff for Sale

I just picked up some very nice looking Calcutta bamboo and will be making some 3ft custom Calcutta floating bamboo gaffs. All are coated with rod finish epoxy. Gaffs come with a gapped cork tape underneath X wrapped heat shrink grip and with the gaff hook that is wrapped with one continuous wrap around gaff hook shank and up the neck of hook. This provides an extra strong gaff hook that looks good too.
3ft..........$45
I can also make any length gaff that will fit your fishing needs.

Pm me if interested.

Thank you,
Daryl

The butt size differs depending on the bamboo, but a majority of the butts are between the diameter of a nickel to quarter size. It really depends on the piece of bamboo that is selected.

What size diameter are you looking for?

Yes I do. I have and can make you a gaff with any size hook you are looking for. I personally like the 2/0 hook size, which has a 2 1/4 inch gap. Works well gaffing all game fish from cbass, yellowtail, hailbut, etc. What length of gaff are looking for?

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, they do float, as bamboo has sections that are airtight. Call or text me when you're ready or if you have some questions.

Raskal,
Next time you need a gaff, at least you do not have to travel far. What city do you live in?

hmm... I might still get one. (altho.. I have yet to catch a gaff-worthy fish )

They look awesome! Any other wrap colors/styles?

Maybe I'll try to stop by sometime and check one out. I'm in the Long Beach area.. not far from Raskal.

Anyone interested in buying a brand new floating Promar gaff?

Thanks DAryl

Placed my order and got what I pretty much envisioned and some...3 feet, double 8inch grip and a wrist loop. Diameter the size of the butt of my swimbait rod.I like the way how he wrapped the hook.

Fishnijay, currently I have two different blues and a green for wrap colors, but I can always get different colors. Let me know what you're looking for.

Oneyedeer,
Thanks for the purchase and I'm glad you like it. Hopefully you will get to stick few of these and some of these with your new gaff.
