Clams and Lobster

Went Clamming yesterday, 20 minutes to get my limit of 10. Grilled 4 on the open shell, added the rest to my left over lobster head soup from sunday! Made for a pretty epic monday!

Nice!

I haven't been claming in decades - didn't know there were many around anymore since the influx of (ethnicity not-specified for PC reasons) immigrants.

You must have a pretty good spot for clamming. O usually have to wait for atleast a -1.5 tide and am lucky if I get 5. Good job with the haul and good eats.

I found a monster bigger than anything you got there up north in Ventura. Cooked it, tried to eat it? I'll eat anything too ,but I must of messed it up somehow. Maybe bigger isn't always better! How about some insight on preparing those things

Simple. cut up the foot, put it back in side the open shell with Salsa Fresca. Grill for 5 minutes, add pepperjack cheese for 2 minutes. eat with Tortilla Chips.

agreed due to the slow moving nature of clams, I will withhold from putting such information forth on the internet. I only get out 1-2 times a year. I never regret it when I do (once my legs get their feeling back)
