Prospect Post for Wed 5/26

Surf is flat and wind is gone. I should have brought my boat in today as we saw three guys landing at apx. 7pm and my son said he saw fish in their kayaks from our Marine Rm perch. My son is 7 and a quite an avid angler and may have been a bit hopeful with his description of the guys landing at La Playa. Redtide looks quite thick out to apx. 80' depth line but water looks dark blue outside. Launch looked fine for my titanic last night.

Tight lines, Kurt

White-cap and Redtide

Wind looks to blowing 10 knots or more outside with a couple yaks tied to the kelp. I can't spot Josh's new stealth blue boat. Several PBers anchored off the Marine Street. Wind on Prospect looks light but water looks tough and discolored outside.

I did the morning shift - weather was good - cudas were boiling, birds crashing, surface iron fun. Water was dirty inside and got worse by the time I was leaving. Some clean water outside.

There were only a few kayakers out, I was surprised.

There is a shell game going on right now with Blue Hobie Revos.
This morning I saw a guy launching in a Blue Revo with an Orange Hat!
Holy Jig Stick Batman......Thats my uniform.

So if you are looking for a Blue Hobie Revo - Look close through those glasses because lots of guys are sportin' them.

Windy all afternoon and very slow fishing. Didn't see anyone hook up on the water yesterday. Lost a big white seabass in the kelp Landed around 8pm. Oh yea, I almost forgot, two guys landed right behind me... one guy on a blue Hobie kayak hooked two nice Y.T. He kept one and released the other. But don't get too excited. This guy can hook up Y.T in the S.D. river. TX for the bait Billy.
