First time on the water with my Hobie outback 2019, super cold morning, but it was really fun, bunch of calicos and sandbass, all this in Ensenada, Mexico.

Cheers!

Do you ever launch at the ramp on the north end of Punta Banda?

Hi John,

We have two ramp, the first is on "la joya", we use that one when we want to go to the point near to la bufadora, there is another one in "arbolitos" that one is a really nice place due to you can paddle to the tuna cage, a lot of YT and bonita are below, but also a lot of sea lions, therefore is a little bit complicated from the kayak, still fighting the fish and the sea lion

See the picture below, I have marked both launch ramps.

Nice, looks like you were in front of the Torre Lucerna hotel. Nice hotel BTW. You look close enough, that you could cast from shore and catch those calicos!

Yes, you are correct, there is a lot of activity in 6 to 10 ft of water, that area has a lot of structure if you want to have fun with calicos and sandbass that is the place.

Cheers!

There is another ramp in the top left hand corner of the photos. Out near the point.
Have you ever used that ramp?

John

hi John,

we tried to use that ramp, but is private, we are not allowed to go in, it's a shame due we would be really close to the point and there is a lot of activity on that area, if you want to get to that point you can use the first ramp on the picture or also you can launch from Rancho la bufadora.

cheers!
