Heading up with the kayaks at the end of July. Can't wait!
Caught a couple of these last year at Twins Lake waterfall. Nothing as big as yours though.

dinosaur trout! do they stock them that big or can trout survive to reach such maturity in CA waters?

most hatchery fish breeders have the adipose fin clipped.

Great trip and report as usual. I wish I could have made it up there. Now that the Sierras seem to be fully open, it will be a zoo.

I may try and get up there in July...
