The launch has changed

The triangle barriers are missing from the launch. Looks like a high tide wiped that area clear this morning. And the camera needs a cleaning.

the barriers are the cities/life guards bright idea to keep the flow of traffic at the launch steady during the summer.. in my opinion they are worthless and getting 12 vehicles on the sand during the summer is impossible where I counted 12 lined up and unloading one morning last winter without them...

on a positive note. the sand is wet and compact. meaning no 4x4 is required and anyone can drive out and unload, keeping the streets free of guys trying to unload yaks.

oh. and if you want to go clean the camera, we'd appreciate it.

It's not the high tides that clear the beach, it's the run off from LJ's drainage from the rain.
