haha, for sure...or some higher power testing my morality. I will make an honest attempt to find owner but if they dont turn up I am a) using it and maybe even b) selling my kayak with it. Found a vantage seat on FB for sale trying to haggle a bit, but hopefully I get it. Honestly at this point in time I am so but hurt I am currently thinking to exit the hobby, at least for a few years.

quit fishing if you're not having fun on the good days. don't quit fishing just because a few days go south.

As someone with a (nearly) perfect Hobie launch/land record....all I can say is keep the freakin mirage drive locked in!! Things happen way too fast to be fooling around under pressure. Find your gear/ get new gear and go again.

Or quit. And get a boat.

Sorry man, that sucks. Gotta admit that's a pretty rough day, physically AND financially. I've been there on exceptionally bad days the boat. Almost sinking, shitty conditions and lots of money spent in fuel and bait just to get the shit kicked out of me offshore and coming home empty handed. But it's amazing how one good fish will keep you wanting to come back out, no matter how bad the last time out was. Hope you get back out there!
