Tony, I missed seeing Mr Patrick's waiting to launch coupled with these landings. Epic again.

I've got a Team Sewer Song of the Day:

"I tried to landing my kayak, but then I got high..."

I think I need to get high, and watch this video over again, and again.

Thanks for the entertainment. Yani

As I start this video up and the song comes on...my daughter runs in and says "oh you don't want to hear this song Pop, it's bad..."

Brotha Tony just keeps on filming while Greg's $2k in gear sloshes around in the sand...

My Tip of the Day:
If you're facing shore and Tony's free eye gets big (the other eye is in his camera), look over your shoulder because there's a big arse wave about to hit you...he won't warn you, he's just trying to get THE shot with one of his twelve cameras...so he can show the world!!!

What happens at the landing does not stay at the landing

That video got my heart racing big time....

I noticed how Tony didn't help any of his kayaking "friends" get their kayaks on to the beach, but instead, he decided to keep the camera rolling. Thanks for the entertainment Tony!!!

That's how I do it

Jorge.
That how I do my beach landings too. My very first beach landing on my PA was there at San Onofre with a big shore break. Got slammed on that one and broke my paddle. I rolled two out of three landing at La Jolla
I guess that just come with owning a PA. Now I just pack everything down and expect to go swimming.
Maybe next time I'll just jump in the water n the surf zone and swim in with the kayak. At least that way it won't flip and get sand everywhere.

Tony Great production on the video. At least you made it in high and dry

In his defense, Tony will grab your paddle and seat cushion on their 14th wash up the beach. And go film the next guy while you are saving his yak from being dragged back out to sea.

eeeshhhhhhh!!!!! no bueno.....hard to watch perfectly good gear get tossed. hope it wasn't too bad, did he get his Gopro back?

And this speaks to the repeatedly overlooked major need for San Diego to step up and pay to build a kayak angler only dock with greenie bait barge and beer bar that extends past the reserve line and has one of those flat escalators like at the airport to get our gear out there!

We need to rally at City Hall!!!!!!!

Watching that video was one second laughing and than thinking OH NO bad for the gear. George got stuck is the rip tide and turned sideways right where it's almost more sand than water. Greg's misfortune was not seeing the wave in time to grab the side handle, OUCH. Tony you made it. My wife wants to go camping at San O, but I've never taken my kayak there and it looks like you have to keep an eye out more and stay in the surf zone a little longer than at La Jolla, to pick the calmer spots. Than you have to dismount fast and pull the kayak up the sand out of the beach breakers. Rough landings but how was the fishing. Another great video Tony. Mark

Tony,

Kudos to you. This is one of the best videos you have done by far. The compilation of shots angels is very good. I will have to nominate this video for an Oscar.

The way you integrated the video games and airplane crash was phenomenal.

The degree of time you put into making this videos for our entertainment deserves Kudos by itself.

Question for George

Now,

George, I felt like you were under the Super Tank of a PA for a long time when you took a dive, I was getting kind of worried for you. How does it feel to be eating sand under the PA?

I thought Tony was going to film you getting CPR.

The title " Tony saves a life."

Song of the day:

I've got a Team Sewer Song of the Day:

"I tried landing my kayak, but then I got high...
I was gonna save my buddies life, but then I got high
My filming never stops, and I know why ( why man?)
cause I got high (x3)

(La da da da da da da da da)

I was gonna get Greg Stuff before I got high
I coulda helped out and coulda put the camera down, but I got high
(La da da da da da da da da)
I am never gonna help out and I know why, (why man?) yea heyy,
- cause I like to make fun of other people and I know why? [repeat 3X]

BEcause Frank got me good and hurts my pride

and thats why I get high, I like to high, I like to get high

I messed up my entire life because I got high
I got no kids and no wife because I got high
now all I eat are polish quesadillas and I know why
- cause I got high [repeat 3X]

I'm gonna stop singing this song because I'm high
I'm eating 29 busybee sandwiches because I'm high
and if I dont sell one copy I know why
- cause I'm high [repeat 3X]

Thanks for the entertainment. Yani

I always admired people surfed their kayak in with fishing rods/ GoPro / gaff....etc sticking up to the sky.

I don't trust my skill or luck.. I stow everything, tie my rods flat to my kayak and bail out before landing , grab my kayak side handle and let the surf push me in..

Not pretty, but I never lost a thing this way...

Pretty suck to lose a rod, get sand in the reel.... or crack that expensive GoPro...
