Eastern Sierra Troutin (minus the kayak)

My wife’s grandfather got invited by his old buddies to come to the Eastern Sierras with them on their annual fishing trip. He knew of my addiction to fishing and invited me along too! We stayed at Silver Lake on the June Lake Loop.
This was my first fishing trip up here and it was a blast! We had mixed weather from sun, rain and snow. Fishing in the snow was an awesome experience. I didn’t bring the kayak on this trip but definitely will in the future.
We fished in the local lakes, hiked up mountains and fish streams. We got to tag along with some old time veterans and they put us on more fish than we could handle. We probably each caught 75-100 fish. This place is beautiful. Thanks Steveoo for the help on the area!!!
