New fish finder technology... Wow!

Just read about this online and short of a GoPro like video this is done cool stuff.... Not sure I would plug this on a kayak but I'm sure in another year or so they will have smaller units... This basically answers my core question of which way are the fishing heading...

Check out the videos on the site.. Pricey but not as crazy as I expected with unit under 1,500.. A man can dream can he ?...

If it works as well as it show's could make deadly accurate use of a iron. But the learning curve to figure out how to decipher what it is actually showing looks pretty crazy.

Nice, but I wonder if performance will suffer in saltwater. Also, the cone looks pretty wide, wonder if there are depth limitations?

Probably for fresh water. The depth in the video is 24ft.

Not holding my breath for use at LJ.

The transducer is $1,500 then you get to add the FF unit. Quite a few of the Garmin units are compatible with this. The RealVu down is sick.....no guessing if the fish are on the left, right, front or back of you. The updates are 1-4 second.....deeper water will take longer to process. When deep water updates are around 1 second or less.....watch out!
