So after working on my truck all week hopefully in time to fish Jim Salazar's Battle of the Bays Tournament...

I succeeded! Truck was back online Friday afternoon, what a tough week I went through just to get everything back together and dialed in. I signed up for battle of the bays Friday night, and won first place by Saturday afternoon!....yeah but most of you already knew that!

So I finally had some time today to make a visual inspection of the offending cylinders....I pulled the cams and removed the head bolts. Found a Carbon fouled burned intake and exhaust valve...and a partially melted down piston #6.

As you can see in the second picture that fucked up valve is open when it should be closed, probably the cause of my no compression....



Here's what one of the non-offending cylinders, set of valves looked like.
