Quick Mission 9/13/15 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Got one this morning. After have been fishing on my dad's boat the past few days/weeks, it was really nice being able to launch the yak and avoid the mess at the docks on the weekend and wake up whenever I wanted, not wait in line for bait, land a yellow and be back in time for the morning football games.

Got this one on a long soak so-to-speak while talking to George (GBCbad), I'll let him post his photos/report from this morning if he wants! Haha. Also had fun with the bonito on 8lb test and the small sardine waxwing, watching them blow up on it and toss the bait in the air will never get old.

Very nice surfisher. Great on the release. Went out today to LJ but did not have the same luck. Couldn't make any bait so I spent the day trolling irons and swim bait but all I got were 2 bonitos, both released. The weather and water were awesome. Got a good work out paddling around and that is something I need.
