12/1

Launched at 0545. High tide 1-1.5 surf, water vis 10ft, light SE breeze, water temp. (fish finder displayed 78, that couldn't have been right). Didn't make bait, just yo-yoed and threw irons. Birds were going crazy over mirco sized bait. I did see three nice size boils, but no yt for me. One sandy (released)... Landed at 0930 to hightide, 1.5-2 ft waves and DFG... Good luck, some yellows were caught this morning..

Was it the DFG checking licences or that chick who likes to measure (the fish)?

It was the fish measuring chick. Unfortunately I didn't give her one to measure...beautiful morning though, it was good to meet you at the launch Dennis. Some yellows were caught like you said, a few pics I took are posted on kayak4fish. Good luck to the afternoon crew...

Jeff,
I was planning to, but I also heard that the weather was going to turn bad tomorrow.

12-1-05 La Jolla-

Well it's been so long I hope I can submit a photo-
Made greenbacks at the pier after real easy launch-
Went out to the spot and had a greenback deep-over 100 ft
and the rest, as they say was dinner...

Pat, thanks again for the photo byatch...
