Halibut Saturday!

This is my first catch, my fifth trip with my buddy James, the Frugalfisher, my biggest fish ever- all true!

Kick Ass!! Great Dinner!

I caught it on a Carolina rig with a Pacific Mackerel in 95 ft. I was only out for an hour or so. Good Day!

Well done!
Nice first fish from the yak.

Those things die hard don't they?!
A whole different experience when you have to haul it into your lap!

Congratulations.

Nice fish, but that is setting the bar high for your next one. I think that was the only keeper out there today.

Nice halibut.

Did the fish go nuts when it reached the surface ? There is always a story behind a halibut catch.
