I don't know why some people are hesitant to join this tourament here. It's only the worlds largest kayak fishing tourament and it is free to join with great prizes ''including giving away a hobie kayak'' your going to be catching fish thru out the year anyways so why not put them up on your own tourament page that way you can go always go back and look at the fish that you caught.

Is this something that you need/are expected to be fishing every weekend? I know a lot of guys on here (myself included) get out once a month, sometimes less.

You dont need to fish every week neither do i expect you too. Some people get out twice a week and some once a month. You could help us out by joining and submitting catches you have whenever you get the chance. Everyone is welcome to join and we have two spots open so if you want you ill be happy to have you on the team!

Ok, I just joined. But keep in mind i'm a just bought my kayak a few weeks ago and i'm still trying to get the hang of things. I plan to get out twice a month but i'm still trying to find my way around on the water.
BTW if spots fill up and a more experienced fisherman would like my spot I would be more then happy to give up the spot.

It does not have to be every weekend, even now and then is fine, just a full team can rack up more points, for the team.. and it's free!!
Sign up on Kayak wars under CaliHali , in the Southwest and You can fish saltwater, fresh water, bays, ocean or what ever.. every fish counts!!!

Just take a measurement and a picture, see if we can grab some of the prizes from the SanDiego boys...
