Custom Seat on Older Outbacks

Has anyone used this style of seat in the older Hobie Outbacks? If so how does the center of gravity feel while sitting in the ocean. It seems to only raise the seat like 4-5 inches.

Center of gravity is good, if it is really rough out it would be better if lowered but it worked just fine for me. Now there is a problem. the back legs are well supported, HOWEVER the front legs POINT load the deck and could cause a problem with the structure of the front deck. So I took a piece of 3/8 inch plywood 4" wide and ran if from front leg to front leg with some on the outside of each leg. It helped to spread the weight load and decreased the point load, worked for me at 180 lbs.
