Yeah I think if you just park on street here:
110 Camino Del Oro, La Jolla, CA 92037 You shouldn't have much trouble, especially if you have a YAK and fishing gear. I have some further thoughts regarding transient rights vs. tax paying citizens but I will spare us all. |

Maybe you could use one of the Park and Ride lots in Sorrento Valley that would be super close to La Jolla and they have restaurants nearby.

I would stay at south shore park....
And boat launch across from fiesta island on SeaWorld drive about 3/4 of a mile east of SeaWorld. Rv's park all the time
Along south shore park way dr....I don't think the cops would tell you to move if you stayed in the boat launch parking lot, nice bathrooms and RV dumping clean out. You would be 2 or 3 exists south of la Jolla,on mission bay, and under 10 minutes from Dana Landing you could stay there to excellent deli and tackle shop.
