Non kayak report....skipper and owner of 3/4 day Malihiini worked hard today

Sorry to post a non yak report, but have to comment and give praise where it's due. Did th 3/4 day today on the malahini, 45 anglers full boat. Skipper and owner worked there assess off to put us on fish. Today was easily my best 3/4 day experience. We came home two hours late because of commitment.

Yep, I've been on plenty of trips where the captain and crew worked their asses off, for nada.

Good idea on the cedar plug. That's how I got a bluefin last year. Didn't think about that for bonita. Was it colored or plain cedar?
