Another Small OC Butt - Newport Harbor - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Haven't been out in a while so went very light with one rod and a couple of plastics. Was paddling in the middle of the channel inside the PCH bridge and a whale surfaced right near us. Found out later it is the same wayward juvenile grey that was spotted in Dana.

About 8:30 AM hooked up and Kaya came to assist with the landing:

Yep, that's Kaya's leash on that butt--didn't bring a game clip.

She'll be eating well tonight.
