Possibally your best trip EVER. I know it should not be your worst trip. I will have another group there in September and there will be a some posts about their trip. Expect to see them here around the 25-28 of September. Last years October trip had some yakers catching 100+ fish days.

Now I'm really looking forward to the trip
I've only fished/dove the pacific side. I've never dove the GW Pupping grounds before

It's been a few years since I've had a 100 fish day. Yes it was also in Baja. Those are the kind of days you need to take a break from fishing just to give your arms a rest! Then you wake up the next day and every muscle is sore and you do it all over again! 👍🏼

Yes sir I sure do miss Baja!

That is why I have Bengay cream and Ibuprofen on my "long", alphabetized and colorized list.

But I thought it was because you were getting old and tired, thanks for straightening me out.

Guys remember there are lots of different senarios there. Last year all the bait schools were small 1-2 inch fish, and we all needed to down size to smaller lures. You know, match the hatch. If some of you want to free dive, talk it over and figure it out. If some want to take a panga, let me know so I can let the capt know what days you need him for. Most stuff we can figure out there but it is better to pre plan. Tight lines.

I did a lot of research before taking a trip to Cedros Island to stay and fish there.

One of the recommendations of someone who had been there before, was to bring Bengay and the Ibuprofen. I did take them and use them there.

Currently I am working on putting together the items on my list.

SoCalYak and Danjor WHERE ARE YOU. Are you guys still in or can someone else have your spot?
6 of us are leaving on Tuesday morning headed back to Gonzaga, we will be coming back on the 17th. We should post about that trip a few days later. Things to remember, sun protection. Small jigs, wire leaders, gaff, gunny sack drinks and snacks. Bring a spoon, fork, knife, and a cup. We use paper plates as they burn and less cleanup. Tight lines.
