I REPEAT

IT IS DEFINITELY NOT OFFICIALLY

YOYO SEASON

Same time, same place, same rig, same PS greenie, same buoy line, same story, different day and different fish (really, I swear). The run-down is almost exactly the same as Wednesday's fish.

A cold and breezy day turned out to be beautiful ... and white - 35# of it.

Thanks for the pics Tyler and Cris - Cris I'll shoot you my email.
Get 'em!

If it wasn't for Arne we would think it was just another beautiful fishless day in LJ. Nice fish, again.

I forgot to add, that spot can not be fished tomorrow . As of about 10am the yellow reserve buoy was off the hotel in about 110' of water and heading west, making the area unfishable as it is inside the buoy .

Seriously though, the buoys marking the reserve edge are not where they normally are. I think the one we saw today will need a replacement as it had come unanchored and started wandering out to sea. Last weekend one was about a tenth of a mile off the launch.

it was a nice feesh indeed, great meeting ya Arne and to think i almost stayed home due to the upcoming storm prediction. ended up being a nice day.

I started too late, didn't get out there til sunlight.

swell was huge, wishin I had the sponge with me, was on the shore waiting for the rest of my group to pull in and sat there watching many rip currents form and swirl out to sea.

Rock on Arne! :thumleft:

I didn't think anyone was going to fish this weekend because of the swells.
Apparently it didn't show at the launch.
:x Mad I didn't make it out.

Thanks guys - funniest part of the day was when the reserve buoy drifted by on its way out to sea. Here's a pic as it passed me in 120 feet. I had to stop fishing ...

Oh yeah, belly was empty - and great pic of little Riley. She wins.
