Some lakes have a sit inside kayak only policy. That may be why? Totally discriminatory in my opinion

It's not discriminatory in the case of DVL and Lake Skinner. They are drinking water reservoirs where you're not allowed to have any bodily contact with the water. You can't swim or even wade in the water while shore fishing there, and definitely no pets are allowed within a certain amount of distance from the water. Only non-bailing (sit inside) yaks are allowed.

I wonder if they would let you in if you plugged all your scuppers.

So with a sit inside kayak, you enter it on land and the shimmy down the bank until you're in the water?!

Nope, they have a specific kayak launch system there.

Cant confirm this but in the past we did hear Rumor that the S-10's rear scuppers despite being in the tankwell caused lake staff at DVL to not allow it on the lake.

Take a look at the Pungo if you want a traditional style sit inside. Or for something more fishy I have used my WS Commander 120 at DVL and it is perfect.

If interested we do have a Pungo at OEX MB we are clearing out. It is a New boat used one time for Demo. Looking at 650.00 and it is Mango in color.

Its stupid though because they fill DVL with water from the Colorado which is almost all swimmable. They still have to filter all the fish poop out as well to make it drinkable so nothing extra would have to be done.

It's not the fish poop they are worried about, it's the human poop .. plus bacteria and diseases and nasty biological stuff people bring in that cant be easily filtered.

Exactly.

Know guy selling this one for $225 including the seat and an anchor. Maybe gone by now, but thought it was a good deal.
