We will be the Florida Keys in September. Those baits would be great, especially the pop shad with the jacks.

Need to pick your brain on Keys fishing soon.

I just bought my first pack of paddlerz yesterday. Can't wait to try them in the bay ( Newport) for spotties.

ICAST

I'm here in Orlando and I'll be headed over to the Orange County convention center in a few minutes to set up the Promar/AHI booth for the ICAST show.
I'll take a few photos and post about anything new or something that catches my eye.
I can't wait to see if Hobie has anything 'new'!
CJ please stop by and say hi.

Ton's of fun on the cabrilla too!!!!! Throw them over the rubble reefs and have a heart attack when a 10 pounder explodes on one in 10 feet of crystal clear water. Wonder If I can cast one on my flyrod? Baja here I come, tight lines.

Z-man

Wade, after 40+ years fishing fresh water for LMB and now learning the ocean, I have swathed almost all my soft tackle to Z-man products ! can't say enough great things about them! I take my favorite bay lures from Z-man to the lakes and I catch way more LMB with them than my old stand by plastic worms !! LOVE THE STUFF.

You could rig it an unlimited number of ways especially with its indestructible material, but a 5/0-6/0 EWG hook will still float it on top of the thickest muck,

10X TOUGH!!!!!

More from ICAST: Z-Man has introduced new Project Z skirted jigs. Offered in two varieties—Football and Flip ‘N Cast—these new jigs are highlighted by Z-Tex textured silicone skirt material that traps bubbles on the descent and affords a lifelike, three-dimensional look.

The Football Jig features a flat face that slams into rocks—kicking up silt and gravel to create fish-attracting disturbances. The Flip ‘N Cast Jig sports a versatile crawfish-style head that slides easily over and through cover.

The wait is over. Z-Man is proud to announce the newest addition to the ElaZtech lineup - the Pop ShadZ! The very first true soft plastic popper, the Pop ShadZ will cause a commotion when twitched along the surface and float a heavy-gauge hook on the pause. It will also walk through grass, pads, and other cover without snagging. Skip it under mangroves for laid-up snook and reds or work it through dense lily pads for largemouths. The Pop ShadZ is a producer!
