Halibut on a Squid Jig LJ 6/28

30" Halibut took my squid jig at attached to end of a sabiki, belly hooked but kept him on long enough to gaff. Only other action was a good run and felt some good weight on a carolina rigged sandab, but it came unbuttoned.

I have a mask that would go great with that shirt.
You'd be like some kind of fishing superhero.
Just messing with ya.
Great snag on the butt. Any squid seen?
I'm out in your neck of the woods. See ya out there sometime.

Hey my ex-wife gave me that shirt, said it was chick magnet material.
It is an old mountain biking shirt that wicks moisture and the long sleeves keep the sun off my arms.It is usually covered by my vest. Ed I told you i needed to change prior to photo. No squid today but made about a dozen on wed. There used to be a long haired blonde guy with a funny hat that caught a lot of fish, thought the same might work for me.
How much you want for that mask?

That's very cool John, on a squid jig. You must have kept that pressure nicely.

Where's the tincan with the blue T top, r you taking it out for walks??

Egads! pier pressure, I'm going to have to ditch that jersey or at least keep it out of the pics It appears I resemble everything from a mexican wrestler to a coors can. Then again maybe it has mojo potential.

John,
I saw you and your blue prowler coming out of my favorite burrito shop last Saturday. You probably MtnBike by the metal bridge too. You gotta turn me on to more trails in the area if you know any. There's Holenbeck, but I haven't tried it yet.
