Not Southern California or Baja, June Lake

Just home from 2 weeks at June Lake. The weather was warm and windy the first week and hot and still the second. Fishing was good used the freshwater stuff Tommy gave me and it worked very well. Generaly fish night crawlers with a water filled bobber for a weight. June lake fishing was ok and Gull and Tioga gave us out best days. 2 limits at Gull and a 9 fish day at Tioga. The biggest fish were 2 1/2 and 3 lbs of course we were broken of a few times. What was amazing at Gull lake was seeing a fish jumpthen having your drag sing. Tuesday we floated in Gull the weather was still and hot by the time I got out my clothes were sweated through. Went down to June in the afternoon and it was too hot to take the Kayak out. We had a great trip kayaking and breaking in the new Outcast Super Fatt Cat and Fish Cat 4 Tubes. The bummer of the trip was Grant Lake the water level has never been lower.

Here are soom random shots of the trip

Awesome pictures...Ive visited up there a couple times when I was a kid. The very place I caught my first trout and started on this lifetime of chasing finfish. But for some reason we had to drive up to Mono Lake every time to...

Looks like a nice change of pace!

June Lake Loop. One of my Sierra MotorcycleFishing haunts, I carry a telescopic rod on the bike.

Carson River along Hwy after the junction of Monitor Pass.

Ebbetts Pass, Mosquito Lake 8000 ft.

Kinney Lake

I had to roll my pants up for this shot crossing the rock steps. I like to go around the back to a spot.

Girlfriend taking Spy Shots.
