Fish N' Dub

No its not the new Cobra Kayak model with waterproof speakers..
Jus' been running back and forth from the studio to the jewel in hope of bagging another croaker like you all been doin so easily!..Not much sleep in this search..Fish and Dub..thats about it..Dan was so kind to trade me his TLD reel, so i thought I would finally test her out..& according to King Neptune the only way to "really" test one out, is to tie one on with some long tailed motha...So it goes...and so did the drags!...Lol..My buddy makes fun of me for complaining about them..but I would rather have a MEAL Vs. mercury thank you...
So i "think" he cursed me wednesday.. After a couple sharks yesterday, I saw this fin sticking out of the water basking itself..From a far I thought it was a lil mako, but when i got closer I found it to actually be a sunfish. Damn was he friendly! Are they all like this? He curiously swam around me for a good ten minutes and provided me a chance to break in my waterproof new camera..I felt bad thinking after I left some thresher would come up on him and smack the crap outta his big head..Back into the studio with my tail between my legs and hopefully be back out by the weekend..C Ya!...

Although every day should be, Earth Day is coming up soon..If your out on the water why not pick up a few balloons or chip bags that seem to be everywhere lately..

Ez!

Wade F'n awesome video. I'll have to pick your brain about some dub artist next time I run into you. Big fan of rasta, few dub artist off the top of my head I like: Groundation, Bad Brains, Burning Spear, Iration. Would love to further build by collection.

Also thanks for the report, been awhile since I've been out on the water, think the last time I was out is when I saw you. Will be hitting up the PM tomorrow after work and hopefully out this weekend as well. This video has me pumped to put on some dub while I get my gear ready as soon as I get home from work.

BAD BRAINS are the ill-est of ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was raised up on Punk & Hardcore, Skin-Rocksteady. Listened to HR & Bad Brains for ages and loved the inclusion of reggae into their mix..So its actually Paul Hudson aka HR himself who I am accredited to being where I find myself today..If it weren't for his music emulating the Veteran OG's of JA, I would Never have known..

If your wallet is strapped like my game clip is, save your loot for this INCREDIBLE night..
Although Groundation's musicians are AAA material, I prefer John Browns bodys sets' a bit more in my ol' effects driven opinion..

cool video of the sunfish. I saw one last year and wasn't sure that was what I saw. It was just too bad that a couple of seals were having it for lunch

Same here

Great vid! The underwater footage is cool, and The Scientist bit at the end is too. Last time I saw Dub is a Weapon the fog rolled in THICK!

Wade, that is an awesome video and soundtrack. At one point the sunfish was swimming to the beat...haha

I too came across Bad Brains by listening to punk, I had already liked how the Clash had some raggae influences, but BB takes the cake by far.

Another suggestion I'd make for dub music is Long Beach Dub All Stars. They did a complete cover of Dark Side of the Moon. Pretty much the epitomony of music

I never realized that sunfish were powered by a mirage peddle drive.

Nice!

While I've never experienced motion sickness while at sea, watching your videos is probably the closest I'll ever get. Nice work, but try to keep your hands still when shooting or get another camera .

That music was pretty sick with the footage, though.

You are thinking of the Easy-Star All-Stars, the album is Dub Side of the Moon. They also do some dub stuff with Beattles and Radiohead albums.

Very sick video!!

Wade,
unbelieveable how you seem to have a thresher magnet on the end of your line. Maybe make a mini steadycam mount so your next fish can be like rocky running up the stairs in Philadelphia?

Excellent tunes.
You Go Boy!!
